Chrystine - Tales Of Paradise

Chryztyne wurde von einigen Mitgliedern, der Band Saint Attack gegründet. Sie waren eine der ersten christlichen Metallbands in Deutschland. Olaf Hayer von Treasure Seeker war ihr letzter Sänger. Das Original Line Up war Frank Schepp (Sänger), Mathias Loris (Gitarre), Hans-Martin Kaufmann (bass), Thomas Kessel (Keyboard) und Lars Nippa (Schlagzeug). Soviel ich weiß, ist das Album „Tales Of Paradise“ ihr einziges Album geblieben. Wenn ich mir als erstes die Texte ansehe, sind es nicht gerade christliche Songtexte. Von der Optik her, könnte es eine ganz normale Hardrockband sein. Ich würde zumindest nie darauf kommen, dass es eine Christian Rockband ist. Leider fehlt den Songs, die richtige Würze. So richtig gut, kommt kein Song bei mir an. Die Jungs haben das Album auch selbst produziert und so schlecht ist es zwar nicht, aber besonders überragend auch nicht, obwohl Tommy Clauss seine Finger drin hat, den man von Produktionen wie Zar, John Lawton kennt und von Achim Köhler zusammengemixt (Chinchilla, Brainstorm, Sacred Steel etc..) wurde. Talent haben sie alle mal und das Album ist bestimmt nicht schlecht, aber eben nicht so gut wie Stryper, Whiteheart und viele andere. Meine Faves sind „Tell Me Why“, „All That You´ve Got“, „All Day All Night“ und „In The Darkness Of The Night“. Entscheidet lieber selber hier!

Chryztyne were founded by some of the members of a band called SAINT ATTACK, one of the first christian Metalbands in Germany! Olaf Hayer of Treasure Seeker was the band's last singer. For me it´s no Christian Songtexts if i look first to the lyrics.From the optic they could be a quite normal hardrock band. I would never think that they are a a Christian Rockband. Unfortunately i´ve been missing the right season on the songs. No song really arrives me well. The guys produced the album by themselves and it isn´t bad at all although Tommy Clauss (Zar, John Lawton) had his fingers into this one and get mixed together of Achim Köhler (Chinchilla, Brainstorm, Sacred Steel etc.). All of them have talent and the album isn´t so bad but just not so well as Stryper, Whiteheart and some others. My Faves are „Tell Me Why“, „All That You´ve Got“, „All Day All Night“ and „In The Darkness Of The Night“. Decide by yourself!
