It's kinda weird when you think about that Sweden has always been a good metropole for Hard Rock & Pop/Rock music. Not many bands decided to play Sleaze/Glam though and even less were any good at it. Nasty Idols from Malmö the southern parts of Sweden were one of a few bands, that actually made it. Even bands like Shotgun Messiah, Easy Action, Candy Roxx, Swedish Erotica and Backyard Babies showed them before how it goes to mention here some. They became an icon in their genre, the number one sleazerock band in Sweden. These swedish glamsters boast a line-up that´ll have chicks phoning up loads of hotels in a bid to find out where they´re staying when ever they tour. Of course this was very good for their ego and most men under you surely also would be pleased about it, or what! Other bands in the genre was giving in because of the Grunge hype and lost popularity. Nasty Idols carried on with their rock n´roll crusade and became a bit harder and more aggressive on the third album Vicious as if nothing could stop them. Nasty Idols are for me like Mötley Crue and War Babies. Sweetest Heavy Sleaze Metal from Sweden with strong impact. On "Vicious" it gives a lot of good songs. Outstanding here for me in any case are "Head´s Down (In Tinseltown)", "Dance Of The Wicked" and "Hellout Shakeout": Here comes in your head soon bands like Pretty Boy Floyd or Bulletboys. Strong-randy guitar-and bassrhythm followed with a nice powerful chorus. The tracks are for sure always asked again on all Party´s. On "Hellhouse", "Ain´t Got Nothing" and "Pretty Cut Wild" comes Andy Pierce dirty smoky voice jutting out to the validity. Here reminds some parts on Shotgun Messiahs singer Tim Tim of the "Second Coming" album. "Do You Want Another" is a crazy extraordinary style and brings the good old Rock´n Roll back. "No Time" and "Over n´Gone" are the only heartbreaking ballads and make the whole album totally complete. Nasty Idols are for me the sleazers of these World. .....Nasty Idols rulez and sleaze the World!!!
